About the artist

I primarily create representational, impressionistic oil paintings with visible brushstrokes and strong light and shadow effect. I find myself most impacted by paintings with vibrant, clean color and thick paint - you’ll find those elements reflected in my work. I aim to evoke spontaneity, playfulness, wonder, confidence, and pure joy in each painting!

My art has most often been described as “happy” - which thoroughly delights my heart and echoes my desire for my paintings to infuse a sense of joy, beauty, and goodness into your home (with a flair of playfulness).

I live with my two boys (1 and 3 years old) and my husband in Tulsa, OK. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, though I’ve currently paused my clinical work while I focus most of my energy on motherhood (and painting) - full time mom, nap time painter! As a mental health therapist, I am passionate about and found my niche working with victims of abuse.

I love to read and cook and watch/dance to/obsess over musicals (theater kid here). God has been endlessly good and faithful to me, and I love honoring Him with my art practice.
